About me

“Pilates is complete co-ordination of body, mind and spirit”. Joseph Pilates

Hello, I'm Kirsty, a former physiotherapist turned Pilates instructor, passionate about empowering individuals through mindful movement. During my time as a physiotherapist, I was fascinated by how simple exercises could have such profound effects on the body. This curiosity led me to delve deeper into Pilates, and I was immediately hooked, my Pilates journey began and I qualified as an instructor through the APPI in 2012.

As a former physiotherapist, I bring a wealth of knowledge about how the body moves and how to safely challenge it. I focus on providing exercises that build strength, flexibility, and body awareness, all while prioritizing your health and well-being.  I approach Pilates with empathy, precision, and a deep respect for each individual's body and journey.

Outside of teaching, I find my balance in nature and the quiet (sometimes chaotic) moments shared with my family. I believe that the connection between mind, body and nature is essential for holistic well-being.
